Description This HDD docking station enables an external connection of a 2.5 or 3.5 SATA HDD via a USB interface. The docking cable can also be connected to your hard drive without using the holder. You can protect the hard disk on the PCB side and avoid a possible short circuit by inserting the included cover plates into the mounting holes of your 2.5 or 3.5 HDD. Furthermore you can connect a Blu-ray or DVD drive to the docking connector and connect it to your system. Due to the USB 3.0 standard, a data transfer rate of up to 5 Gb/s (Super Speed) is supported. In case your computer is not equipped with a USB 3.0 interface it is also possible to connect the docking station via USB 2.0 or USB 1.1 port.
